On this year's robot we've spent five weeks prototyping. It has proved very challenging working on the ball kicking mechanism as well as a winch system. On this years robot we built two kickers that allow us to save time during the match, by not having to re-orientate ourselves each time we want to kick/score a ball. The ball acqusition deployment and scoring system has two wheels that pull the ball in towards itself, controling it better when we kick. Due to the weight constrictions we had to remove our winch system that would have allowed us to hang from the towers during the finale. Also this season we hope to build a back up robot/practice robot as well, allowing the drive team to get some practice in with this years bot.
