The 2012 build season began this morning with an exciting kickoff presentation. This year’s challenge is Rebound Rumble, a type of basketball game. The twist is a four basket setup, with each basket level giving a different score. Robots are given two minutes to score as many points as possible with the baskets, with an additional fifteen seconds for autonomous mode. Robots also score additional points by balancing on two bridges at the end of the match, more points for each robot. Michelle said she was looking forward to building the robot and going to the competitions.
